Fern Landscaping, the name, was founded seven years ago by Manny and Chris Fernandes.
Before being named, it was a father and son doing landscape maintenance on the side. It started out small with a few residential accounts and has since grown a great deal. Working out of a home garage with one truck and a couple of lawn mowers, father and son were soon known as hard working men who would always go beyond for their customers.
Over 15 years, the two Fernandes' men built many strong relationships with many customers and were happy with their small business; it gave them time to hang out with one another as well as make a few extra bucks. When Manny passed away in 2009, Chris decided he wanted to honor his father and keep the business alive. He quit his daytime job as an accountant and reached out to his customers for support and thus Fern Landscaping was born.
